NATIONAL VISION CONTINUED - TACNET
TACNET - The Arts Collaborative's National Energy Tour

On 11/20/1969 I was born. On 11/20/2014 I was talking with Adrian Anderson, Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Suzanne Bonamici of Oregon. I was there to discuss my interest in the STEM to STEAM CAUCUS and my personal story about how necessary the arts were for me in my elementary days. If it hadn't been for the arts in school I most likely would not have made it through the traditional school structure. I was made to create and to advocate for the arts. In 4th or 5th grade, after struggling in school, I saw a specialist who determined, after using a variety of tests, that I visualized concepts more in shapes, and images. From there on out I worked with a teacher that could provide me with more one on one attention where I could process information with a more "hands on" approach, this creative atmosphere helped me to catch up to other elementary students. Thank God for her and thank God for the arts in Junior High School and High School. My grades in most classes were not very good and I would say that it was primarily my artistic focus that saw me through this schooling until I reached College where I blossomed.
TACNET - Mobile Museum and more!
GOAL: To electrify and inspire the United States community through a grass roots effort of planting seeds of Inspiration. Traveling across the United States David Heatwole along with his family and staff will perform many duties on this trip including:
1. Identifying possible future Arts Ambassadors. Heatwole, along with his artist sidekick and the Business Manager, working on behalf of The Arts Collaborative, will conduct interviews with individuals around the country, that have been hand selected to be official “Arts Ambassador(s)” for each particular state and or region that he or she resides.
2. Lecture at Schools and various venues about the mission of "Changing the way. . . ART Works! and the Power of Creativity & Inspiration."
Each audience at these lectures will be issued a Community Collaboration project challenge. If they choose to participate, they will need to complete by a given deadline the following year. Projects will be juried and prizes will be giving to the most collaborative, most inspirational and most serving for the community. The idea behind the projects is similar to the TAC Umbrella Offering Program whereas communities will be challenged to make an inspirational work of art. (DON'T REMEMBER WHAT THE U.O. Program is? Click here!) |
3. Write about great National creativity. Pin point great subjects for articles in The Main ARTery and on websites including inspirational stories, great art or creative places.

4. Show and Tell about the Energy/Synergy movements.
Visitors will be able to see a portion of the HEATWOLE/TAC Energy/Synergy Collection through a Traveling Museum. 5. Educate about Energy. Our tour will also feature various interesting products powered by alternative Energy sources. These will come to us via our sponsors.

For Our Sponsors - FEATURES IN OUR NEWLETTERS AND SOCIAL MEDIA
VanGo - The official newsletter from the 1997 Tic TAC TourThe Newsletter from the Tic TAC Tour Across America was created on a friends computer while traveling through Ohio. We were blessed to be able to stay with them for a few days and catch up on history and talk about the future. It was nice to have a warm shower and real breakfast, LUNCH AND DINNER!!! Next time the "Newsletter" will actually be a section in The Main ARTery publication possibly even an insert and will be produced on our own computers both from on the road and with help from staff back home in Martinsburg, WV. IF THE LOCAL DREAM IS REALIZED!!!
|
For three years David published great content in The Main ARTery from anything in the form of fiction, poetry, reporting on artisans of all ages, theatre and book reviews, reviews on restaurants, a calendar with features on specific items of interest, a unique cross word puzzle developed just for us and so much more! That was just covering a small area here in the Quad-State region of PA, MD, VA and WVa. Imagine what kind of content we could report on Nationally!!! We can do what no other publication is doing via grass roots efforts.
