THIS OLD FAITH - Going strong!
Home is where the heart is - with this strong Christian family!
In 1999 just in time for the new Millennium, and the coming of Christ, I became a Christian. I came to understand my own creative purpose and to understand why there are so many different denominations in the Christian world. I came to Christ when I was living at 411 S. 11th Street. I met my wife at this same time and actually it was her 6 years journey to the Orthodox Church that finally brought me home to the undivided 1 Holy undivided, Catholic (according to the whole), Apostolic Church and eventually to Christ. I thank God that he revealed his will for me during this time and in time for the blooming of The Flowering of a Dream project which included the making of 3 flower shaped mazes on three separate years. These unusual works of art helped me to come more into my own being. I overcame so much during this time in my life and now I am a full fledged member of Jesus of Nazareth's family.
If it were not for this family as loosily connected as most of us are I would not have the energy or strength to be doing what I am doing as a husband, parent, friend, fellow passionate human being and artist.
I thank God for the Orthodox family that I know and don't know but who raise me up in prayer, some knowingly but most unknowingly, as I also lift them up in collaborative prayer, thanksgiving and worship.
